Teaching History Information Night
Wondering how to go about teaching history?
Do I need a textbook?
How can I include all ages?
Should I teach chronologically?
How do I teach Australian History?

I love teaching history. I can't claim to have studied history at university, or even in a great depth at school, but as a homeschool mum, I have enjoyed my chance at my second education and history has become something which I have loved learning alongside my children. I had the pleasure of leading an Information Night about Teaching History recently and have had requests to lead this night at different locations.
If you are willing to open up your home, and gather together ten or more interested homeschoolers, I will be happy to come to your suburb around Sydney.
Please fill in the contact form below if you are interested in hosting a History Information Night or if you are interested in coming to one close to you.
You don't need to buy a curriculum to teach history, but there are some out there which can assist you. Most of the approaches that I will be discussing use literature to teach history. As I go through these different ways I will show you books/ spine books/ curriculum/ literature and examples of what we have done.
