Here's an interesting article from the Washington Times where an
Australian au pair helps out with teaching the children. She is a part of the Cultural Care Au Pair program and she shares the task of homeschooling with the parents.

I like the way the mother describes how homeschooling is "all of life."

"We do an all-year schedule, learning seven days a week, any time of the day," Jennifer explains. "Last night, just before bedtime, Noah asked a question about an atlas. So we stayed up late, exploring that. It's a way of life."

Even though we may describe our 'schedules' in different ways, I think we'd all agree that real education happens all the time - every day, everywhere, in life.... and not limited to our books, desks, or any homeschooling curriculum we may choose to use.
