This is a great idea that I will definitely put into play at my house! We have 3 huge book shelves filled with all sorts of books, and I think sometimes the children get overwhelmed when they try to decide on something to read. They stand in front of the book shelf and look, and look, and look. Then they go, "Mom, I can't find anything to read!" 150 books and nothing to read? LOL
With this system, I'll use a smaller book case (1 shelf per child) and give them 10-15 to choose from. I'll rotate them periodically and provide fresh materials as they need them!
