Homeschooling Mom of 3

We've tried them all! We started homeschooling in 2005 with a 4th grader, 5th grader and a 6th grader!

We switched to LOF this year after trying BJU(4th-5th grade), Saxon books & Teaching Tapes(6th-7th) Math-U-See(8th-9th), ALEKS(9th-10th), 'Key to' curriculum(4th-9th), & Jacobs Algebra(9th-10th).

My 15-yr old who HATES math says, and I quote, "I dislike LOF the LEAST of any math I've ever done!" Coming from her, that's quite a compliment!

My 17 yr-old also wants to continue with LOF through the rest of high school next year; the only dissenting voice is my 16 year old who complains that LOF is too hard for her. After looking through the LOF lessons, and looking at our previous curriculums, I know WHY it seems hard for her. LOF is more advanced than the curriculums she has been used to.

I only wish I known about LOF when we began homeschooling, and could have used it from the beginning!
