Manning Valley Homeschoolers: Taree, NSW Australia

Manning Valley Homeschoolers welcomes all children, from babies to graduates and their parents, in the Taree and Manning Valley area of NSW. If you are thinking of homeschooling or have children not yet 'school age' you are very welcome to come to our meetings. We are very supportive of each other and the children have a great time together.

We meet every first and third Monday of the month. On the first Monday we generally have some kind of all-day excursion or activity. For example, some of our activities this year will be visiting the local art gallery, canoeing, Australiana Day, Cross Country, First Aid, Aviation Day and more.

On the 3rd Mondays we hold Club days which go for two hours in the afternoon. On these days the children get to choose 3 activities that they will do for 6 months. Then they get to choose another 3 activities in the second half of the year. Some of the activities they can choose from include choir, games, art, dancing, woodwork, science experiments, juggling, scrapbooking, gardening and many more.
