It Could Always Be Worse: A Yiddish Folk Tale is a picture book with a great moral tale.

A poor farmer is distressed by his woes, mostly a crowded hovel with little room to breathe, and seeks the help of his Rabbi. The clever Rabbi makes suggestions that allow the poor farmer to see that life could, indeed, always be worse. Though this is a children's book, it remains a favorite of my teens and grown children.

I used to read this book when I was young, I still think it's a great story and it puts life into perspective for me every time I read it. This book teaches you to be grateful for what you have.
