This is my first page about Adolf Hitler. As I am reading a book about Hitler, I will write some information about him.

Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th 1889. His mother loved him dearly while his father was nearly the opposite. He went away from home to follow his passion of Art after his father’s death. Mr Hitler thought artists were lazy and useless and wouldn’t have his son be one. Adolf tried many times to get into the art school but the teachers said he wasn’t good enough. He blamed the Jews and blamed everything on them. He was a lonely ,poor, angry boy and he could read thoughts in his early life.

When World War I started he joined up straight away. During World War I he was very brave. He was in 47 battles. He went on the most dangerous missions. He very much enjoyed his life in the trenches and all the missiles, bombs and bullets seemed to miss him. He was awarded 6 medals including the Iron cross Germany’s bravery medal. In a poison gas attack his mask broke around the eyes and he was blinded. At the end of the war he was very distressed in the hospital hearing the defeat of Germany. He started blaming the Jews for disrupting the Army.
