Australia, ACT, Canberra, Christian Home Education Canberra (CHEC)

by Anna
(Canberra)

CHEC is an ecclectic mix of home educators, who are spread across the length and breadth of the city and out into adjoining townships and regional areas.

Our members employ a wide variety of approaches to home education, with each family encouraged to meet the needs of their individual children as is suitable in their unique situation.

While reflecting considerable diversity of expressions of the Christian faith, we support and encourage one another whole-and-open-heartedly, doing our best to reflect the love of Christ to each other. We are all volunteers, who contribute to the function and activities of the group.

CHEC usually meets for activities, group events or social get-togethers on Fridays, at locations which are advised to members through our website and email facilities. Newcomers are welcome to attend a couple of activities before paying membership fees.
