What age would be interested in this book? Also the CD is 6 hours long, abridged, do you lose a lot in the abridgement?

Hi Wendy,
The Henty books are recommended from ages 10+.
I'm not sure what the abridged version leaves out, but I know that I have been disappointed with abridged versions before as far as books are concerned. I'm sure it would be easy to listen to though.
When I did a quick search, I noticed that there are no unabridged versions of The Cat of Bubastes.
There are some books by Henty however, which are unabridged and in MP3 format. These are 11 hours listening time.
