Our family has enjoyed Truthquest American History for Young Students for the past 2 years. It is an excellent resource for those who want a living books approach to learning, and it gives an abundant list of great book choices for each historical time period or topic.
The best part of the guides are Michelle Miller's wonderful narratives that introduce each section and help you to see history with a biblical worldview. It is like having your own tour guide to point out the key points of interest along the journey.
